Scheduling at Shine
We kindly request all new clients fill out our New Client Inquiry form. We will contact you to schedule once this has been reviewed.
Existing clients are welcome to log in to their athenahealth Patient Portal to schedule online. Please contact us directly if you would like to schedule a two-therapist craniosacral session or a telehealth session which is an virtual way to meet with your therapist to review your program, assess your workstation, or watch your fitness routine. Telehealth is a HIPPA-compliant version of Skype or Facetime.
We use a team approach to treatment at Shine. Individual physical therapy treatments may be with either of our two clinicians, Emily and Nikki. We are a small clinic and book out quickly. Please consider making multiple visits to ensure continuity of your care.
Covering your care
Beginning in April 2019, Shine providers will be a direct-pay clinic. Your hour-long visit is $150 with a $5 discount for check or cash payments. Your specialized receipt, called a Super Bill, can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement or to apply towards your deductible based on your out-of-network benefits with your insurance. Any additional documentation your insurance may require for reimbursement, such as daily notes, will be accessible to you on the Patient Portal.
We strongly recommend that you call your insurance company prior to your first visit to learn about your coverage with us. We are happy to help with any questions you have after you have spoken with your insurance and fill out this form.
Existing clients are welcome to use our Telehealth options which is similar to a Skype or Facetime call on your phone, tablet or computer. Rates are $35 for 15 minutes and $70 for 30 minutes.
We highly recommend GetBetter.com for obtaining either credit towards your deductible or reimbursement for your out-of-network claims when pay Shine directly.
